This policy explains what DiPiazza Agency collects when you contact us or ask us for insurance, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
Mobile information. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number, your text-message consent, or your messaging history with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No exceptions. The only outside party that handles your number is the messaging platform that delivers our texts on our behalf, and it may use that information only to deliver those messages.
Information we collect
- Contact information you give us: name, mobile and home phone numbers, email address and mailing address.
- Insurance information you give us so we can quote or service coverage: the property or vehicles to be insured, drivers in your household, current carrier and coverage, and similar details.
- Messages you send us by text, chat, email or web form, and our replies.
- Basic website data such as the pages you viewed and the device and browser you used.
How we use it
- To prepare and explain insurance quotes you asked for.
- To service policies you buy through us: renewals, billing notices, documents, claims help.
- To answer your questions by text, phone or email and to send appointment reminders.
- To meet our recordkeeping and licensing obligations as a licensed insurance agency.
Text messages
We text you only after you give us permission — by checking the consent box on our form, confirming it in our website chat, or texting our office first. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of getting a quote or buying a policy. Who we share information with
We share your information only with parties that help us do the work you asked for, and only as much as they need:
- Insurance carriers and underwriters, to rate and issue coverage you requested.
- Service providers who run our agency systems — our customer management platform, our messaging and email delivery platform, and our document storage — all under agreements that limit them to serving us.
- Government or regulatory bodies when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with anyone for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and quote records for as long as we serve you and afterward for the period our licensing and recordkeeping obligations require. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
Your choices
- Ask us what we have about you, and ask us to correct it.
- Stop text messages any time by replying STOP, or by calling or emailing our office.
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send.
- Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
Security
We use access controls and reputable vendor platforms to protect your information. No system is perfect, so we do not promise absolute security, but we take it seriously and we limit who in the office can see what.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
